Owain Davis, Lesson 1- 16/09/2015

Freaky clone tool-

Today I learned how to use certain features using photoshop. I learnt how to increase an images size without changing the quality of the image. I learnt how to copy a certain feature and insert them onto the same image using layers and different tools.

For the image below I inserted the main human image onto layer 1 which i then had to increase the images size by holding Ctrl + T and i then could enlarge the picture by dragging corners out. I then made another layer that I could edit the original image on. For the insertion of the 3rd eye and eyebrow I used the clone stamp and I then right clicked on the start of what I wanted to clone which was his eye. I then went back onto layer 1 and right clicked where I wanted to place the eye and I carefully altered what specific image and shape I wanted the eye to be to make it more efficient.
For this image I inserted the owl image of google into layer 1 and I first of all altered the size by holding Ctrl + T which I then altered it. I then clicked the clone stamp and left clicked on the owls eye and selected the area I wanted to clone. I then went onto layer 2 and I could then right click to insert the eye and select where I wanted it.
I made a 3rd one which I couldn't upload as it was in the wrong format/software to upload onto here but for this image I inserted 2 different images and put them on 2 separate layers. I clicked onto the woman and clicked the quick selection tool and then I cropped around her lips and I then inserted the lips onto layer 1. I then achieved combining 2 different images together,

I attempted to make a 4th image by using different tools but it didn't work exactly to plan and i struggled to use the paint bucket tool, the cut tool to cut a specific part of the image out and move it else where and I didnt quite get the grasp of it. So i could next time improve by asking for help and saying that i didnt understand instead of giving up and exploring what else i could do on the photoshop software.
